• Develop pigmented inks for inkjet material deposition printheads
• Develop formulation to meet various jetting and ink requirements such as viscosity, surface tension, solid loading and temperature behavior
• Develop quality control procedures and perform quality control of inks
• Self-monitor progress and provide reports
• Collaborate with colleagues on assigned projects
Experience:
• At least 3 years of industry experience
• Expertise in one or more of the following subjects: nanoparticle synthesis, nanodispersions, surface chemistry, inkjet technologies
• Demonstrated capability to carry out projects requiring preliminary material screening, ink formulation, new process development (as required), and ink testing – preferred
• Knowledge in thermal processing of pigmented compositions – preferred
• Knowledge in substrate/ink interaction and drying – preferred
Qualifications & Skills:
• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in chemistry
• Self-motivated, creative and innovative
• Data-driven with strong documentation and reporting skills
• Good analytical and modeling skills
• Good organization and time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Team-oriented and comfortable working within and across different groups and disciplines
