We are looking for a Python developer to join our R&D Data Intelligence group. This colleague will:
• Build and develop our evolving data platform. Main focus is to build data services and APIs to retrieve data from our data warehouse and other data sources. Most of these services are used internally in the product and some externally.
• Design and code in an agile environment utilizing micro-services architecture. Analyze data in accordance with our data warehouse.
• Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot a variety of software issues in AWS production environment.
You would need:
• University bachelor degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or equivalent required
• 3+ years of experience in developing data processes in Python or Java
• 3+ year of experience in working with MySQL database, design and develop solutions with MySQL
• 3+ years of experience developing ETL and querying data warehouse
• Experience in working on Linux environment
• Experience with AWS technologies like S3, RDS, SQS, EMR, Redshift, DynamoDb
• Experience with data management
• Team player mentality
Great if you also know:
• Deep knowledge of MySQL optimization, MySQL Engines, upgrades, tuning, backups and recovery
• Experience with asynchronous and multithreaded programming
• DevOps abilities
• Experience with BI solutions
• Experience with the no-SQL technologies
• A passion for developing robust, scalable software systems
• Proven ability to independently deliver projects, end-to-end
• Highly motivated, result oriented and a fast learner
• Ability to work in a startup / agile development environment
• Understanding Fixed-income data
