Responsibilities
• Develop our next-generation distributed Web systems by contributing hands-on effort in a areas and build captivating, high-end user experience, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other frameworks for logging, monitoring and testing our websites
• Develop scalable, highly performant, responsive, cross-device compatible sites and mobile solutions
• Implement and advocate usage of web standards, SEO principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Lead technological initiatives and improvements while instilling development best practices
Position Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience in production Web environment, including monitoring and performance tuning
• 4+ years of experience with VanillaJS
• 2+ years of experience with Node.JS and modern FE tooling (Webpack/Babel/Gulp/Grunt etc.) and packaging
• 3+ years of experience with various JavaScript frameworks and libraries (React, Angular, Vue, GraphQL, Redux, MobX etc.). React/Redux is a big advantage
• 4+ years of experience building responsive/adaptive Web applications/sites using modern CSS/SCSS/Less/CSS-in-JS development
• 2+ years of experience employing various testing-oriented and code quality methodologies
• At least 3 years of experience in production Web environment, familiarity with backend and frontend (HTML, CSS , JavaScript, HTML template engines), cdn, Rest, git etc.
• Deep understanding of CSS, CSS pre-processors and satellite technologies; experience with flexbox, CSS grid, grid systems and animations
• Cross-browser compatibility testing and troubleshooting
• Experience with CSS/HTML/JavaScript performance optimizations and tools
• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science or a similar degree (preferably from a leading university) - an advantage
• Experience with hands-on Node.JS / React / Redux application development - an advantage
• Experience with modern FE tooling (Webpack/Babel/Gulp/Grunt etc.) and packaging - - an advantage
