Professional Skills
• 2 years’ experience as hardware QA or IT infrastructure
• Hands on experience with server hardware, storage, networking and virtualization – must
• Hands on experience working with operating systems (Windows and Linux) including scripting – must
• Demonstrated ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Demonstrated ability to write clear and reproducible problem reports, and test results
• Demonstrated ability to create specific test cases and compile result analysis
• Knowledge of performance, load and stress testing methodologies - advantage
Networking Skills
• In depth knowledge of networking protocols L2-L7
• Good understanding of TCP/IP
• Familiar with network equipment configuration (Switch, Router, FW)
• Low-level network monitoring and sniffing (Experience with sniffers).
• Familiarity with network load generators the likes of IXIA and\or Spirent - advantage
Personal Skills
• Ability to easily learn and apply new technologies.
• Works well with others.
• Ability to work independently and lead others if so required.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience
• VCP certification - advantage
