Job Description:
Provide on-site support of all IT activities, including making sure end user IT needs are being met and the Corporate IT infrastructure is working properly. In this role the person routinely interacts with end users, site leadership, facilities staff, security personnel, contractors and other third-party providers and suppliers. Work as part of the regional EMEA IT support team to provide 1st and 2nd level IT support to EMEA sites and users
Desired Skills:
• 3-5 year experience supporting PC users in a medium/large office
• Experience supporting remote users
• Experience with user and computer management using Active Directory
• In depth knowledge of Windows 7&10 operating systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook including installation and configuration
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluent in English
• Excellent customer service skills, troubleshooting and team work skills
• Working knowledge of networking including LANs, VPNs, cabling, switches, patch panels, etc.
• Basic vendor management and procurement processes
• Knowledge of server operating systems including Linux and Windows Server beneficial
Familiarity with Apple Mac, tablets, and smart phones beneficial
