In this role you will:
• Play critical role in defining the architecture, engineering and operations management of a global infrastructure (Data centers, Network, Systems)
• Define, implement and document DevOps processes and procedures, with periodic review for efficiency and improvement, together with the DevOps team.
• Define and architect cloud-based technology to build our next generation products
• Install, configure, update and troubleshoot services and technologies to support cloud systems (Web servers, MySQL/NoSQL, OpenStack, KVM, SDN, CI, SNMP monitoring, centralized logging, PXE Boot, DNS, DHCP, YUM, Customized CentOS, AD/SSO)
• Work closely with internal business groups & engineering to translate business needs into the appropriate technical solutions
• Collaborate in a cohesive, energetic, cross-functional and open environment
Ideal Candidate will have:
• 7+ years of infrastructure and DevOps development experience at a global scale
• Broad infrastructure technical skills in data center, networking, storage, server, Linux and cloud technologies
• Expertise in one or more languages such as Python and Ruby
• Experience with cloud configuration technologies such as Salt/Ansible/Chef/Puppet or equivalent.
• Strong virtualization and networking knowledge
• Expertise in technologies such as Elastic, Logstash/filebeat, Sensu for monitoring
• Experience with Docker & LXC Containers, Kubernetes, Mesos, and related technologies.
• Excellent problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
• Scripting and/or programming skills and the ability to develop custom tool integrations. Integration between multiple systems using their published API’s.
