The role:
Design, Development, and implementation of scalable and performant back end services and FrontEnd for mobile apps.
● Full Stack Developer: FrontEnd + BackEnd
● Build unit tests and integration tests for web services.
● Be responsible for implementing backend services from concept to delivery for each sprint.
● Grow the R&D team and mentor the individual team member to fill the gap of expertise in the current team.
● Initiate, plan, and manage multiple R&D projects and continue developing our online shopping platform and integration with third parties.
● Be the evangelist for clean architecture, maintainable software and consistent design patterns.
● Work well in fast paced and Agile development environment and drive continuous improvements.
● Keep an eye on emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen the company’s technology platform and development practices.
● Work with app development teams and QA to deliver back end services on time and quality.
Skills
● Strong knowledge of React / react.js / Node.js
● Knowledge of Ruby on Rails or Paython would be a big plus!
● Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or comparable experience)
● 5+ years’ experience building high performance and scalable services using React / react.js / Node.js and Javascript
● Minimum of 2 years’ experience in management role of at least 3 team members.
● Strong knowledge of unit testing patterns and practices.
● Strong knowledge of AWS and server architecture.
● Familiarity with SQL and relational databases will be a plus!
